Religion is an Excuse

I believe that religion is a scandal. It’s something that people have come up with to justify their actions. God? Really? Some big guy in the sky said “I want this” and so it was done? As if. We all live the same life. We all know that just because we say
“I want this to happen” doesn’t mean it shall be. I mean really, in the first chapter of the Bible, it says, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” It’s not probable. And what kind of idiot believes that stuff? Ha.
As I first said, people use religion as a way to justify their action. From the ancient Mayan nations to modern day life, people have been killing in “the name of God”. What is this? As long as you throw god into the mix and the majority believes in your god then it’s ok? I believe that people also use religion as a way to excuse their prejudices. God made the white man to be superior, god made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. This religion is the true religion, that religion is the true religion. You know what people? If it’s all true and there’s “real evidence” then why doesn’t everybody believe it?
You know what, I don’t even care. The only thing that bothers me is when people look down on others for their beliefs. And if it weren’t for religion, they wouldn’t do it. Now, am I looking down on people for believing in something I think is false? Nope. Just voicing my opinion.
