Keys to My Life

I believe in freedom. I believe in pride. I believe in forgiveness. I believe in change. Most importantly I believe in being a better person. I believe in these things because these are some of the most important and close things to my heart. These things help me to reach the highest that I possibly can in life.

Freedom is what America is built upon. It has been earned and paid for by my forefather’s sweat blood and tears. The price alone makes it valuable to me. I value the ability to choose my own destiny through my actions and choices. I am my own person. I am opinionated and state my thoughts and beliefs. Freedom allows me to do these things while being who I am. America is beautiful.

I believe in pride. I am a prideful person; both in good ways and bad. My pride is what gets me up in the morning to fight another day. Without it I wouldn’t be strong enough to stand up to make the right choices.

I believe in forgiveness. I am far from perfect and will make mistakes throughout my life. With this in mind, through making things right and asking forgiveness from those I have wronged and my Heavenly Father, I know I can move on. Forgiveness also helps me to work on my own shortcomings like the bad side of my pride. Through forgiveness I can put myself in the situation to help others. I forgive others because no one is unworthy.

I believe in change. I realize there are many things I need to work on. I want to meet and marry an amazing girl. I know I need to offer the same thing to be deserving of that. I need to change to be that person. I also need to change to overcome the challenges I have created for myself.

I believe in being a better person. If I do the things and further the things I have said above I will be a better person. I will be able to stand in the face of those who judge me and know that I am right. I will be deserving of forgiveness. I will be a stronger tool in the hands of my Lord. As one of my favorite songs say “How can I keep this gift to myself when I can lift somebody else?” I will keep this in mind and strive to be in a position to lift someone else.
